This page explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and how to exercise them with CloudVaultUS.
The short version
CloudVaultUS does not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or otherwise transfer it to third parties for monetary value.
Like most online stores, we do share limited data with the partners that help us operate (Shopify, Shopify Payments, shipping carriers) and with advertising platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok) to measure and serve relevant ads. Under California law, certain forms of cross-context behavioral advertising can be considered "sharing" — even when no money changes hands. This page lets you opt out of that sharing.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, where it came from, and how we use it
- Receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
Opt out of sharing for advertising
You have two ways to opt out:
1. Manage cookies on this site
Click Manage Cookies at the bottom of any page on cloudvaultus.com, set Marketing to off, and click Save Preferences. Your choice is remembered for 6 months on this device. You'll need to repeat this step on every device and browser you use.
2. Email us
Send an email to support@cloudvaultus.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share — CCPA Opt-Out". Include the email address you use with CloudVaultUS so we can identify your account. We will process the request within 15 business days as required by California law.
How to submit other requests
To request a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it, email support@cloudvaultus.com with:
- Subject line: "CCPA Request — [Access / Correction / Deletion]"
- Body: the email address you use with us, the request type, and any details that would help us locate your data
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within 45 days (or up to 90 days for complex requests, per California law). There is no fee.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Email support@cloudvaultus.com with proof of the agent's authorization (typically a signed Power of Attorney or a written designation) and the agent's contact information.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
CloudVaultUS honors the Global Privacy Control signal sent by browsers. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat that as a valid opt-out request from the sale or sharing of your personal information for the duration of your visit.
Categories of personal information we collect
For full details, see our Privacy Policy. In summary, we collect:
- Identifiers: name, email, shipping address, phone, IP address
- Commercial information: orders, refunds, products viewed
- Internet activity: pages visited, time on site, referring source
- Sensitive information (limited): date of birth or government ID for age verification only — deleted within 48 hours
